Larry, I have a copy of the last will and testament of Jacob Charles,Sr. of Dorchester County, MD.,dated 12 Nov. 1774. His wife is named as Mary with no last name. The sons are named as Soloman, Jacob,Jr., Isaac, William, Lovin, Elijah, Elisha, Lorn (?), and three daughters, Mary Monne, Nancy Wright, and Betsy. Jacob Sr. is my great,great,great,great,great,great maternal grandfather. I have information that he came to America from England, but so far no primary documentation.
