My maternal great-grandmother, Alejandra Medina from San Luis Potosi married Antonio Charles from Mexico. They lived in Uvalde, Texas and had eight children. On the death certificate of Antonio Charles, it listed his father as Alfonso Charles from Mexico. I am wondering if the name was misspelled and is his father the same Alonso Charles. My information stops here so I would appreciate any information on the parents of Antonio Charles. He was born June 12, 1850 in Mexico and died Aug 23, 1948 in Sabinal, Texas. His second wife was Concepcion Navarro also from Mexico. I am assuming that they moved to Sabinal, Texas from Uvalde, Texas after he divorced Alejandra and married Concepcion "Concha" around 1912. Antonio is buried in Sabinal. Concha listed his father's name as Alfonso.
