My great great grandfather was Andrew Jackson Charles. He was a member of the Indiana Volunteers during the Civil War. After the war he moved to Bolinger Co. Missouri. I would like to know if he is a son to James Charles of Schuyler Co. N.Y. In gathering information, I have run across these names:
George Washington Charles
Thomas Jefferson Charles
Andrew Jackson Charles
James Madison charles
Is this just a coincidence or are these Charles' related?
