This may or may not be the same AJ (Andrew Jackson) Charles. If so, he was my great-great grandfather. We know that he came from Indiana, not sure about MN. But there are other branches of our family who did come from MN (Thurston & McKee). Our AJ Charles married Matilda Tolliver and moved to Missori after the Civil War. He lived in Bollinger/Wayne counties MO. He and wife are buried near Gypsy MO on highway TT (?). Probably won't find Gypsy on the map- it is between Zalma and Lowndes MO. If you think this is the same AJ please contact me I have info about his descendents and I would like info about his ancestors.
Thanks, Thea Charles Voelker
