I am searching for the family of Mary or Maria CHARLES
who may have been the daughter of John CHARLES and Ruth Ballard...She would have been born sometime around 1825...She married Lovitt Fraisure WILLIAMS in Sampson County, North Carolina...there was JOSHUA CHARLES possibly her brother.
they names sons: David James Williams
Joshua King Williams
John Charles Williams
Lovitt Fraisure WILLIAMS died of Yellow Fever while serving in the CSA in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1864.
I don't know what happened to Mary/Maria CHARLES...
The three young sons were with Lovitt Fraisure Williams family in the 1870 or 1880 census.
