David
My Grgrgrgr grandfather was Samuel Charles and I would love to have the location of there home. I am going out to visit my mom in Dublin, which is west of Richmond, and I would like to find the home. You wondered when Charles left the Quaker faith I don't know for sure, but I have a book presented to my gr grandfather William Penn Hunnicutt by his grandfather Daniel Charles, son of Samuel, the book is dated 1829.
On one page is written Samuel Charles book. The book is Faith & Practice of the people called Quakers.
My great grandfather, William, was born in 1859.
