Louis Charbonneau/Catherine MacLaurent - early 1800s Michigan

Does anyone have information about this couple? I understand that A.J. Sierens gave Catherine MacLaurent as wife of Louis Charbonneau. If anyone has access to the Mt. Clemens, MI library I would appreciate if you could look this up for me. I also understand that there were 2 Louis Charbonneaus - a Sr. and a Jr. I need to know which one was married to Catherine MacLaurent & when they were married.
Catherine is supposedly the mother of my Jean Baptiste Charbonneau (my great great grandfather). I am also trying to find Jean's exact birthdate.
This is where I run into my "brick wall".
Can anyone help? Thanks. Elaine
