Hello. I am trying to find any type of newspaper clippings or copies of them or even to just see the information on a hard copy from the death of my great grandfather Frank Whitmore. He was bron May 4,1887 in Erin Twp., Michigan. I am not sure if there is actual documentation so if you don't have any but know something about his death please contact me. I know his death was suspicious. From what Ive heard from family is that they called it a suicide but the way he was shot it couldnt have been. Any help in solving this family mystery would be great. His parents were Joseph S. Whitmore and Jane Catherine LaForest. His wife was Elisabeth Hebert (Heabeart). He is from a long line of Charbonneaus. A descendant of Oliver Charbonneau.
