Hello Velia,

Benjamin and Anna are a mystery: indeed, I have checked out in the Drouin Collection (usualy called The "Masculine & Feminine") where we usually find out all the marriages in the Province of Québec up to 1930.

Nothing about Benjamin or Anna. Same result in the repertoire of the Parrish of Ste-Thérèse de Blainville. The only reference I have found is the marriage of their son Evariste (s/o Benjamin and Anna).

Therefore, I do believe that Benjamin and Anna got married outside the Province of Québec and came back later on where Benjamin died on Jan 3rd 1933.

In the middle of 19th century, lot of French Canadian emigrated in Ontario, Manitoba and New England. Were they among them ?

The question is still open. Sorry cousin !

Jean-Pierre
