Looking for information about Antoine Charbonneau. The info I have is that he was born in 1809 near Montreal, Quebec and died Jan 28th 1884 in Milltown South Dakota. He married about 1839 to Marie Rubior of Quebec and they lived near North Hero, Grand Isle Co., Vermont. In the 1850 Federal Census he is listed in Troy Township, Wisconsin.
I believe his grandfather was a Private Augustin "Austin" Charbonneau who served in the American Revolution with the New Hampshire lines. He joined at St. Jean, Quebec around Dec 17th 1776.
Any further information about any relations to these is significantly appreciated!
