CHAPUT? Sound like Sheppy?

OK so here is what I can deduce from all the info I have received on the St.Onge/Chaput family. Ludwick St.Onge married Amaline (Armaline?) Chaput (sounds like Sheppy.) I have no idea when they were married or when either of them were born. I’m guessing, since one child I know of was born in 1889 (Jennie Harriet St.Onge 3-3-1889 in Michigan), that Ludwick and Amaline were about 20-30 years old when they were having kids, which is the norm I suppose, so they were born between 1859-1869, however I could be wrong. Also, my grandpa said they were born in “St.Onge“, Quebec, which is a non-existing place. However, “St.Onge”, Quebec could be the town on Shawinigan of St.Maurice County or Louisville, Maskinonge County. Sounds to me like my odds of ever finding out my family history is about 99% crap. I shall keep on trucking and should you stumble on any info, please contact me at Miranda_RAT@yahoo.com. Thanks so much.
