I thought I would post my husband's CHAPPLE interests in the hope that someone else may be researching this particular line. My husband's ancestry is:

John CHAPPLE married Elizabeth HODGE, 25 Nov 1791, South Molton, Devon*
|
John CHAPPLE, Waiter, (bap 21 May 1797, South Molton, Devon*); died 27 Mar 1847, St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon.
|
Maria Campion CHAPPLE, bap 27 Sep 1820, St Mary Major, Exeter, Devon; died 10 Jul 1912, Tooting, Wandsworth, London; married John KELLOW, Master Boot Maker, 25 Aug 1841, St Sidwell, Exeter, Devon
|
John Chapple KELLOW, Master Boot Maker, born 1843, Exeter, Devon; died 28 Sep 1899, 539, Wandsworth Road, London; married (1st wife) Mary Meatabo PHILLIPS, 23 Sep 1867, Wesleyan Chapel, Torquay, Devon
|
John George KELLOW, Master Boot Maker; born 25 Apr 1868, 6, Rochdale Terrace, Ellacombe, Torquay, Devon; died 28 Mar 1956, King Edward VII Hospital, Old Windsor; married (2nd wife) Alice KING, 7 Aug 1912, Register Office, Lambeth, London
|
Walter Raidy KELLOW, born 17 Feb 1918, Lambeth, London; died 26 Jul 2004, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire; occupation: Management Accountant; married Alice Mary HAINES, 12 Jul 1941, Warlingham, Surrey

* John CHAPPLE and Elizabeth HODGE are not 100% proven as John's parents, but an increasing collection of circumstantial evidence is making this seem more and more likely.

Walter Raidy KELLOW and Alice Mary HAINES were my husband's parents.

If anyone else is researching this line, I'm very happy to share further info.

Best wishes,

Sue
