Charlene,

Sorry to be late to reply. I've been through finals at two colleges where I teach.

I have definitely seen your Chappells--Henry, Matilda, etc. I could never connect them to ours. I realize Harris and Troup counties connect, and we were from near Whitesville in northern Harris near the line.

Then we went across the STATE line into Chambers County about 1848 to a little place called Penton outside of county seat Lafayette

Some of our people went back over into southern Troup and worked at a factory of some kind over there.

But I just have never been able to connect those Chappell with ours.
