Glenda - I've been trying to contact you for months - so glad you turned up!! My husband was a greatgrandson of Sarah Meeker who was the second wife of Shadrick Chappell. I'm eager to share information. We have lots of pictures of Wyatt Chappell visiting Rusley Meeker in Bonifay, FL after Rusley moved there in 1888 to homestead. You probably know that Sarah had four children with Robert Meeker, her first husband: Marshall, Rusley, Carradinah and Lester. Lester's family stayed in Indiana, Carradinah died as a young woman, Marshall married but had no children. Lester's greatgrandson, Frank Lynn Meeker is at Ball State Univ. in Muncie, IN (fmeeker@gw.bsu.edu)and has been a great help in getting some of my misinformation cleared up. I'll Email to you directly and we'll go from here.
