I have a Jeptha W. Chappell b. June 11, 1834 d. May 14, 1900 m. Josephine Vestal or Vessal. They had at least two children Charles Frank b. June 11, 1871 d. March 31, 1898 and Mary Magdalene b. Jan.16, 1877 in Indianapolis,Indiana(from marriage license) d. Nov. 28,1935 in Belvidere, N.C. She married John Reuben Phthisic on July 13, 1898 and they had nine children all born in N.C.
