My ggggrandfather was JOHN Chappell of Dinwiddie Co, VA. He was born in the mid 1770s, died March 1838, married to Sebilla. He had children: Robert W., Thomas G., John B., Lucretia B., Jolley M., Susanann J., and Harriet C. I am looking for any information on JOHN especially ancestors or siblings. I have a copy of his will. We believe him to be related to Thomas the Immigrant of Phil Chappell's book. He was born/lived/died within 30 miles the Immigrant's landing on the south side of the James River.
