I work in Chappell's Butchers in Swinton, M/c. Has this any relevance ? Est. in c.1890's in Swinton town centre, it has been mentioned once or twice in local press/on local radio. Famous customers : L.S.Lowry (artist), Tony Warren (wrote orig. scripts for Corination Street - still writing?), Al Read (music hall comic) and even Ryan Giggs (Man Utd. player - lives local).
