I am still searching, however I think your Chappell's and mine are related. I can remember the name Benjamin being used in the 1950's when I lived there with my family, also a Sam Chappell. Do you have any thing on those in the early 1900's? My father was Llwelyn, my brother was Leonard, my sister was Beverly Edith and I was Elizabeth Lynn. I remember hearing Uncle Sam's name in conversation. North Windham and Chaplin are just about in the same city limits, some called the area Chaplin and some called it North Windham. I was born in No. Windham and married there, but we spent 20 yrs in the Navy and Let me know what you have on the more present Chappell's, maybe I can link from there. I still have 2 nieces(Chappell's) that live in Willimantic(Windham Cty), they might be able to help us. There was also another part of my line linked through the Neff name.
