Still trying to find parents for Henry Chappell and Keziah or Kesiah Elliot who married 2 Sep 1850 in Perquimans, North Carolina. They are listed as parents of William Henry Chappell. I cannot find them anywhere, except for their transcribed marriage and listed on Wm. Henry's marriage license in 1898. They are not found on the 1850 census, nor any other that I can find....having looked in Chowan, Perquimans, Gates, Pasquotank Counties, where all the rest of my family are from, along with searching for them in other NC and VA censuses. Seems like if they were md. in September, they should be single on the census. This is one of the 'driving me crazy' lines!
Please help!
I also cannot find William Henry Chappell before 1900 when he is with his wife, Esther Dail.
