He was born in Tennessee in 1838. He shows up on the 1870 census for Graves county Kentucky. Im searching for Chapells from Tennessee that obviously jumped back and forth across borders. Other names and spellings include:
Martha Ann Hobbs whom also married a Chapell believed to be Hustons brother. Eva Chapell/Chappel Joseph H. Chappell and
James H. Chapell. Charles Archie Chappell, Charles Edward Valentine Chappel. Dora Crowley and Lela Dodd/Chappell.
Blythesville Arkansas, Caruthersville Missouri, and FancyFarm Kentucky, Steele Missouri, and Haytie.
