Are you referring to the Capt John Chappell, master of the Speedwell, who came to VA in 1635? If so, and you have uncovered any new info, please share it. Thanks. I visited Boston, Englnd this summer and at the Guild Hall they mentioned that the Speedwell was a sister ship to the Mayflower.
