I'm not related to the family, but have a friend who is. In doing a bit of research for him, I noticed an Abraham Chappell in 1840 in Campbell county, GA. (not far from Newton). He was the husband of Sally Harrington. In 1830 Abraham was also in Campbell county, and in 1820, he was in Walton county, Georgia.

If this were my family, I'd look to see if Anthony ties into Abraham and Sally (Harrington) Chappell's family.
