Vicki:
George Chappel, baptised May 28, 1617 in Barnstaple, was the son of Alexander Chappel and Johann Ellet who married in Barnstaple Jan 26, 1608. Alexander, baptised in Bath Abbey, Bath in 1583, and moved to Barnstaple where he married Johann Ellet. Alexander's baptismal record at Bath Abbey indicates his father's name also as Alexander.
