Rilla CHAPPELL, b. 1855 married William Chandler SCIFRES, b. 1842 in Daviess Co., KY,
on 15 Oct 1874 in Spencer Co., IN. Her name and birthdate is about all I know about Rilla--nothing about where she was from, her family, etc. Rilla and William operated the DeGonia Springs Resort/Spa in Warrick Co., IN , in the 1880's--it was evidently a popular place! They eventually moved to Hancock Co., KY and are buried there. Any potential connection here?
