Maxine, After seeing your post I went to talk to my husbands grandmother. This is all the info she has. Charlie Chappell m. Ann Riley. He was born abt.1868. His mother was a Stringer but she doesn't remember their first names.Charlie's siblings were,(mostly nicknames) "Coot"George?: "Monk" Melee; Leigh; and another brother whom she couldn't remember.Melee married a man named Etter( ? spelling) and Leigh married Clint Turner.
Charlie m. Ann Riley, Children: Robert; Ester; William Odie; Eva; Hosey; Floyd; Boyd; and Thomas.
William Odie was my husband grandfather. He was born in 1904 and died in 1963. they moved to Mo in1944 and both his parents died befor they left TN. His wife is the source of my info. She said they all lived in Humphries County Tn.
I hope we can make a connection too.
