Hello. Just starting to work on this branch.
Rueben David CHAPPELL was my great-great grandfather.
CHAPPELL, Rueben David, b. 22 Jan 1841, d. 30 May 1912, where? m. Martha A. LOWRANCE, when? where? Who were this couple's parents?
Martha A. (LOWRANCE) CHAPPELL died on 28 Nov 1923 in Jasper County, Missouri.
Don't know of any sons, but they had at least two daughters, possibly more:
1. Harriet Jane 'Hattie' CHAPPELL m. Sylvester Franklin 'Frank' WEDDLE. Hattie was b. 4 Feb 1875 in Sarcoxie, Jasper Co., MO, d. 9 Feb 1954 at Muskogee, Muskogee Co., OK. She is buried at the Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee. She and 'Frank' WEDDLE married on 4 Sep 1899 at Carthage, Jasper Co., MO. They had 5 known children, will list if anyone is interested. She later remarried to Andrew B. COMBS.
2. _____ CHAPPELL m. J.W. KLINGER and lived at one time at Lawrence, Indiana.
Does anything strike anybody as familiar, pointers? published genealogies, areas I should look in? Thanks!
