Hi, Denise! I have just started researching the Chappell lines in an attempt to locate my great-grandmother, Ona Chappell. I found one listing for her, and her father's name is Redding G. Chappell. This fellow was born in Tennessee around 1829. His father was also a Redding Chappell, supposedly born in Virginia around 1798. I got all this information from the Family Group Records at Ancestry.com. There's got to be a connection in there somewhere...how many Redding Chappells can there be???
