Remember that the Chappell-Dickie Book was published in 1900. It is full of mistakes. When I tried to trace my Chappell line from South Carolina to a Chappell in the book:
Robert Chappell married to Agnes Cross. The children that were listed as theirs was listed in another Chappell man's Will in South Carolina, including the son-in-law.
