Hi Betty,
I also descend from Benjamin D. Chappell and his wife Alethea/Althea Neff via dau Josephine who m Parley Hill Phillips. Benjamin had a son Samuel Fones Chappell who m Elizabeth Ann Rightmeyer. We believe Benjamin's father was Samuel Fones Chappell. I'm waiting for confirmation and documentation.
