Hi Sandra,
This will most likely not give me any info of my line,
but thought I would try anyway.
Can find NO connections to my WEEDEN,WEELDON/BROWN AA/Native line of SC, NC, and VA.
Know that the CHAPPEL surname is somehow connected, but fail to find the link.
Have a theory that VA ancestors may have been among those
who migrated to NS and CA in 1783 and have found WEADEN,
WEEDEN,WILLDEN,WHEATON of AA descent in both NS and CA, who
appear to have ties to RI, which makes sense, but still leaves me bewildered.
Have yet to find ANY info of my Native ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, born 1833 NC or HER family and wonder if perhaps, SHE could be connected to the RI BROWNS.
Grasping at straws here and just so hoping something might
be of interest.
carol wheeldin warren.
