Charles Chappel(l)/Chapple married 1892 in Alabama

Looking for Charles "Charlie" Chappel(l)/Chapple who married Anna Bell Moore on 17 April 1892 in Jefferson Co, AL. His son, Charles Lewis Chapple indicated on the 1930 census that he was born in England.

I am researching a burial record that may be him. He would have been born in 1842 and died in 1907 and a member of the Woodmen of the World. I believe he worked or was somehow involved in the coal mining operations in Pratt City, Alabama. If this is indeed him, the marriage above may not have been his first (he would have been 50 yrs old at time of marriage).
