Definitely sounds like there might be something to this...also, in the same area where my Samuel Chapel lived in Ontario (Yarmouth, Elgin Co) we find this record:

> Co. ) New Jersey; died in Yarmouth Twp. ,Elgin
> County, Ontario, Canada. He
> married Elmira Chapel; born January 09, 1811 in

This Elmira almost sure named after the Elmira Chapel you listed, no?
