CHAPPELs in Devon and Somerset 1750's

I notice several postings for CHAPPLE & CHAPPEL in the Devon (South Molton) and Bath areas.
I have a MARY CHAPPEL (b. poss 1760/70's) married HUGH RICE in TAUNTON, Somerset in 1795. They lived in FILLEIGH - 3 miles NW South Molton - where Hugh was a Cordwainer (shoemaker) on the Fortescue's estate.
Can anyone relate to this MARY CHAPPEL's family? - I am wondering if those at Bishop's Nympton were cousins etc, since it is only a few miles from Filleigh - despite the spelling differences? Also I wonder if the Bath Chappels are any relation?
