My husband's ancestor is Thomas Chappel b.4 Dec 1795 RI married to Sarah Marie (sometimes known as Sally) Gavitt b. 1804 RI. Their children are George Armstrong Chappell b.1822 RI m. Anna Maria Dunstan; Edwin b.1835 Conn.; and Lucy b. 1837 Conn. Our records show that the parents of Thomas are Thomas Chappel and Hannah Armstrong. I would be very happy to be able to work together to find more information about this family, both ancestors and descendants.
