I am looking for any information on
Christopher Columbus Chappel ( no dates ),
who married a woman named Castleberry ( again no dates ), they had a son named John Chappel
( 1886-1969 ), who married a woman named
Belle Allen ( 1894-1918 ), they had a
daughter named Floy Bell Chappel ( 1918 - )
, my grandmother.
These Chappels were from the northest Arkansas/southeast Missouri area.
After the birth of my grandmother in 1918,
Bell Allen died and John Chappel married a
woman named Bessie ( or Betsy ) James, a
first or second cousin to Frank and Jesse
James.
Any information on these Chappels would be
greatly appreciated!
