seeking to confirm parents of jean baptiste chapman

hi,

i am looking to confirm the parents of Jean Baptiste (johnny) Chapman, born 22 jul 1852, he married Alexina Dumouchel. Jean Baptiste had a sister names Sarah, born 1852.

we think the parents could be john chapman and martha (maiden name unknown), martha would have been born in ireland circa 1825.

i know in 1901 they lived in lochaber, quebec in canada as i found them on the 1901 census,but i cannot find a mariage date or parents name anywhere.

anyone can help or point me in the right direction ?
