Looking for information on the following two Chapman families:
1880 Eighth Murray County, GA. Census
Martin Chapman head 52 yrs
Francis wife 35
Mary E. daug 13
Joseph son 11 this is my ggrandfather
Rena daug 6
John son 5
Lewis son 3
Selic son 2
Joseph married Sarah (Sallie) Chapman daughter of Fields Chapman and Margaret Hulsey from Lumpkin Co. GA .on 3 Nov. 1887 in Walker Co. GA.
I have found some on the Lumpkin Co branch but have not seen anything on these from Murray Co.
I know there are so many branches of Chapmans out there, I was hoping someone may have information about this branch.
