Hello Stephen, I am a descendant of James Chapman who was living with his son George on the 1861 census...he was 65 and they were living in Norwood Passage. His son and the rest of his family were all born in Norwood although James was born in Lampton.On the 1851 Census James and his wife Sarah had had three sons Daniel and Thomas living with them and their son James living next door, they also had another son Joseph my 3x gt grandfather.I wonder if any of this conects to your family.
