From what I've got, your part of the Chaplin tree traces as follows:
John Howe Chaplin (b. 12/18/1800) m. Jennet Geddes Fisher
They had 12 children, one of whom was:
Robert Chaplin (b. 5/20/1832) m. Sarah Jane Farnell
Who had:
Ernest William Chaplin (b. 1868) m. Alice Gammel
Frank Herbert Chaplin (b. 1873) m. Mary E. Phelan
Georgia Chaplin
Annie Chaplin
Bertha Chaplin
Bessie Chaplin
I haven't been able to trace back further than John Howe Chaplin in Nova Scotia, but Jennet Geddes Fisher's family eventually traces back to Northern Ireland.
