As you can see, a researcher has stated one Janet (Jeanette?) Caton was born 1718 in St. Margaret's Westminster Parish, MD. She married Moses Chapline 1717 in Queen Anne's Parish St. George Co MD. The researcher has her parents as William Caton and Elizabeth. I have requested the source of his information. The surnames found on the transcript of enlisted men include many names found later in Rowan Co., NC along with Caton.
