I am interested in learning more about my Chaplin ancestors

My Great Grandmother was Iola Thompson who's mother was Alvena Archibald Chaplin her father was George E Chaplin who's father was George H Chaplin who's father was Caleb Chaplin.

They all lived in Naples Cummberland Co Maine.

George E Chaplin moved to Texas somewhere between 1891 and 1894.

I'm having problems finding information on Caleb that doesn't contridict it self. All I now is that he was born in 1802 or 1803 probably in Maine and Married a Ruth A.

If anybody has any more info on this family it would really help me greatly.
