I am looking for information on the several William CHAPLINs of Edisto Island and /or St. Helena's Island. This is what I have:

1- William CHAPLIN
sp-Ann BESWICKE (d/o Capt. Thomas BESWICKE & Deborah PARMENTER)
2 -- William CHAPLIN (1774 - Nov 1820)
sp-Margaret PERMENTER (d/o Peter PARMENTER, Jr.)
3 -- William White CHAPLIN (1801-1889)
sp-Ann Isobella FREEMAN (d/o of Richard FREEMAN)
sp-Mary FREEMAN (d/o Richard FREEMAN)
3 -- Mary S. CHAPLIN (b. 1810)
sp-William S. McKINDREE
3 -- Sarah Ann Beswicke CHAPLIN (b. 1816)
sp-Lemuel J. McKENDRIE

I suspect that this line may tie into John CHAPLIN and Phoebe LADSON but I haven't been able to connect. ANY help appreciated
