You SHOULD be able to locate them in the
1850 Census; possibly the same area if they stayed in one place. Perhaps this is the place to start on your own.
There are folks out there who do Census look-ups. I know of one, of many, who has access to EVERY CENSUS, EVERY STATE who can be of assistance at $8 per hr.
