I don't know if our Chaplins are connected or not but will share that I have a John Chaplin
in my tree... b. 1682 d. Jan. 1752. He married Phebe who was born June 27, 1691. He lived
at some point in S.C. as we have a record of some land holdings there. His daughter was Mary Ann Chaplin
who was born July 22, 1716 and died April 28, 1774. She married a Jonathan Norton....if you have any links to
these Chaplins...let me know!
