Just started attempting to trace some of my families history and was hoping someone might be able to give me a jump start with information they might already have. I have talked to everyone in my family but i was only able to go back a few generations. My Grandfather was Guadalupe Urdiales Chapa (1935-2006), son of Selso Acosta Chapa (1914-2004) and Maria Valdez Urdiales (1919-2004). Parents of Selso were Filomeno Chapa (1879-1966) and Bartola Acosta (1878-1966). The last information i have is Filomeno's parents Jose and Marcelina, but no dates to go with them. I also know that Filomeno Chapa was born in Mexico but moved to New Braunfels, TX where my family has stayed since.
If anyone might have some more information or could point me in the correct direction that would be much appreciated.
