FYI... Jose Simon Chapa was born 3/3/1782 at Cerralvo, N.L., Mexico. He was the son of Jose Francisco and Maria Faustina (Agustina) Chapa. Jose Simon married Maria Matiana Chapa born on 6/9/1800 at Cd. Mier, Tamps., Mx. Her parents were Jose Santiago Chapa and Maria Juana Hinojosa.
