I just found this site and WOW!! There’s a lot of Chapa’s out there. Well my Mother maiden name is Chapa (Anna Maria Chapa) and her father’s name was Fernando G. Chapa but I really don’t know too much because my mother passed when I was young. The only think I know about him is that he owned a store in Berg’s Mill, TX which is part of San Antonio, TX now and that he passed away in the mid to late 70’s. My sister just told me that they have a picture of his store some where on site at San Juan Capistrano Mission.
