Santos:
You may be searching for Chapas out of "El Chapeno" a rancho near Matamoros it faces Brownsville along the south bank of the Rio Grande and borders the ranchos "San Juan" and "El Gomeno". It was founded by Jose Miguel Garcia Chapa grandson of Jose Nicolas Chapa---who was the son Juan Bautista Chapa Badi---arch progenitor of the Chapa Family Lineages. The reason I mention this place is because it is so very close to Brownsville. Check it out you might find something. If your interested I have more info mainly the source of this info---let me know. Until I hear from you, Abe Plata.
