I need help from someone familiar with William Channell (b 9/13/1833) family. Death record for my great grandmother (Bertha Camelia Channell b. 8/17/1872) lists her parents as William Channell and Sarah Leach. The family is listed in several places, incl Hardesty's but her name never appears. Her birthdate is the same as that listed for Cornelia R except exactly five years off. Is this the same person but she changed her name and lied about her age? Or is the birthday a coincidence, but then what happened to Cornelia ?
