Good to hear from you! I have a family tree that my cousin Rose Channell Phillips wrote in depth about the Channells about 12 years ago.
I am currently writing a story for the United Daughters of the Confederacy concerning the Simmons side of my family, who fought in the 31st Virgina Infantry, CSA.

I am also digging up information about the Channells who fought for the CSA - during the "War of Northern Aggression", as the Channells and Simmons' called it!
Will get more information to you as soon as I can get it from the UDC.
